Submission guidelines

Preparing Your Manuscript

Whether you wish to self-publish or publish via a mainstream publisher, you will need to present your book for submission. We can help in both situations. Most publishers will not consider a manuscript unless it has been properly presented. Lime Books can take your book through to completion, editing, proofreading and manuscript presentation for submission to your desired publisher.

Selling books is like selling most other forms of entertainment, it requires marketing. A book supported by marketing will always outsell the same book with no marketing. How much marketing you are prepared to do will determine the number of books you print. It is important to consider this as early in the writing process as possible; ideally before you write your book. More details on marketing your book can be learnt on our 'Writing A Book Course'. For more details on marketing your book see our Fact Sheet: DOWNLOAD
